Stretch and Play

Stretch & Play is a company limited by guarantee (NI058456) and recognised as a charity by the Inland Revenue (XR92714). It is the brainchild of Victoria Cunningham-Downey, a trained youth worker and yoga teacher from Northern Ireland and was created to provide healthy recreational activities to children, young people and adults.
Stretch & Play works with statutory agencies, other community and voluntary organisations and individuals throughout the Craigavon Borough from our base in Central Brownlow. We provide services to children from two years old through to elderly adults. We work with those who could not normally afford to avail of recreational services and try to provide a more holistic service for them.
Its work has been recognised and funded by the Health Promotion Agency for Northern Ireland, the Big Lottery Fund Active Lifestyles Programme, Craigavon & Banbridge Community Health and Social Services Trust Community Grant Scheme and Craigavon Local Strategy Partnership.

The Foresters' Fund for Children is dedicated to helping the young people of the UK to lead happier lives free from abuse, neglect, illness and disability. We are pleased to help and support any like-minded groups that share our dedication towards giving young people a future.
Our aim is to give a grant a week and we recognise that there is a great need, whether you are a small group, charity or organisation.
Why not just sit down, take out your pen and ask us for help. Or you may know of a group that is actively making the lives of children and young people better. Encourage them to apply for grant support. If the need is there, we want to be there to help.
